RYiA will be closed on Nov. 27th to observe the National Day of Mourning. While our work in Revere centers a multicultural population, it is not lost on us that our present has been heavily shaped by the colonization, displacement, and erasure of Indigenous people. On this day, many Americans will be celebrating “Thanksgiving”, so we want to offer some alternative actions in recognizing the American holiday as a vehicle to mourn and support Indigenous sovereignty.
